Movie time

I rented a wonderful movie this weekend. Light, funny, thought provoking, but not something that left my heart heavy. The ending left me filled with pleasure and my own fond memories.

Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont.

It is about relationships, family, love, and the lessons learned from other lives. I just found it simply delightful. And while young Rupert Friend isn't hard on the eyes, I completely adored Joan Plowright's Mrs. Palfrey. She is a wise, elegant grandmother, mother, and widow. I want to be her when I grow up.

Guess what! My library has it, and I just put it on hold! I'll have it by Wednesday (my library day) this week!

Thanks for the recommendation.

Hmmm, may look into that. On a huge Studio Ghibli anime kick right now so I think it will have to wait.
