I know I am not the only mother out there who has this problem.
This acne thing that comes out of nowhere. Just one year ago the skin was smooth and supple. A perfect completion.
And then everything changes.
My son is 13. And with the arm pit smell, and the changing voice, came a few pimples and black heads.
It is driving me crazy. CRAZY I tell you!
I am not the only mother of a teen who constantly has to stop herself from squeezing those little greasy suckers! I just can't be! It's gotten so bad that I can't see my boys beautiful face without my fingers twitching.
"Son, go take care of that pimple on your nose, be for I do!"
It's not that he has a bad pimple problem yet, it's that he mostly doesn't notice or care, and they just get bulbous, protruding and stare me in eye I saying, "Sneeze Me!"
Is this need to squeeze my poor pre-teen son's face the same need I had to squidge his cute little baby/toddler/kindergartner muffin butt?
No. It's much worse. His face is at eye leval. And those pimples are just taunting me.
I lecture him about taking a shower. Flossing his teeth everyday. Using deodorant everyday. And now, the face cleanser I bought him. Everyday.
I need to get some of those packing bubble pop things to use as therapy.
Okay, you can admit it now. I am not the only mother like this, am I?

Hey, I still have pimples!
Oh dear. It's a trying time, isn't it. The only consolation I can offer is that he'll grow out of it with time.
Genny likes to suck on her fingers and then touch her face. Pimples galore.
Eew.
I never ever had the desire to squeeze pimples. The thought always did and still does make me nauseous.
If they ever got really super scary white-head nasty I'd heat a needle and pierce it to drain it, but I could never just squeeze one till it popped.
Yep, I'm a pimple popper - our sons 22 & 24 can attest to it:)I never had acne, so I was right on theirs
I bought them proactive - it really helped.
Good luck with other puberty things too!

No...no you're not. ^_^
We never fiddled with them, just let them take care of their selves naturally.
I had no idea you lived out there. So send me your address & phone # cause you NEVER know where I am going to show up next...or when.
